Siamack Yaghobi, a former senior marketing major, is barred from entering campus, according to an email sent to Chapman students, staff and faculty Thursday.
Yaghobi, who was served with a restraining order, may not contact certain Chapman community members or come on campus, according to the email sent by Public Safety.
“We have no information that would support that he has been to campus, however if you should see him on or around campus, please immediately call Public Safety,” the email stated.
Yaghobi is no longer a student at Chapman, university officials said.
Questions regarding the nature of the restraining order were sent to Chief of Public Safety Randy Burba, and forwarded to Mary Platt, director of public relations for Chapman.
Neither the university nor its employees are able to release or comment on specific details of the complaint or procedure due to legalities, Platt responded in an email.
“All the information we are able to release about Mr. Yaghobi was included in the community awareness announcement,” Platt wrote.
Yaghobi was a member of several business clubs and organizations on campus, according to his personal Facebook page before it appeared to be deleted. Yaghobi could not be reached for comment as of press time.
Students are encouraged to call Public Safety at 714-997-6763 if they see Yaghobi on campus.
