Chapman’s expansion over the years

Chapman’s student population growth, building development and academics have been expanding since it was founded in 1861. This year, the university welcomed its largest freshman class to date, exceeding the target enrollment goal for freshmen by more than 7 percent. Here’s a look at how Chapman has expanded to where it is now.

Chapman continuously expands geographically, from Wilkinson Hall in 1904 to the construction of the Center for Science and Technology, which is set to open fall 2019.

Beginning with the Argyros School of Business and Economics, Chapman has a total of 10 colleges.
